Let´s take a dip!
My dream view. For years now one of my greatest passions has been swimming in the icy cold water. Or to be precise, taking a dip in a icy cold water, since it´s pretty damn freezing in there, and I don´t have the stamina to hang around too long there. At least not yet. Once upon a time I had the chance to go ice-bathing all winter long pretty much every week at our own cottage by the lake. Then circumstances changed and I found out there wasn´t many places to continue this hobby in a way that I wanted to. For me, the whole ice-swimming experience is a very special thing that takes time. It is somewhat a religious moment. I need good weather (preferably a pink sunset! ;)), plenty of time and silence. And a sauna would be nice too. So public places where you can go ice-swimming are little bit too fast for me, as there are people queuing behind you to urge you to go have a dip. So, for couple of years I have been searching a perfect place to go ice-swimming. Once or twic...
