On top of the mountain

Since we all are more or less isolated these days, and it's still restricted were we can go, I find it helpful to walk down the memorylane (once again) to keep my spirits up. Since we can't do everything we would normally do, what I can do, is dream about things I want to do and look back to all the good times we've had. And maybe plan some new adventures, maybe in smaller scales, but these days even a trip to a new forest trail nearby is an adventure enough.

So, I want to take us back to last summer, to a trip we took to Koli Finnish national park. Located in Lieksa, pretty near Joensuu city.

The views are spectacular from Ukko-Koli, and it's very easy access to the mountain top, you can park your car very close and just walk 10 min. up the hill and the beautiful view is yours to enjoy. There's also many trekking trails nearby, so it's very good place for active holiday also.

We took a quick visit there, mainly focusing on the piknik snacks and the view. And of course Miska had the camera with him, so we took some photos as well.

In real life I'm very uncomfortable in front of the camera, usually I make a "Chandler-face" (everyone who's watched Friends knows what I'm talking about) when the camera is pointed at me. But Miska wanted to take beautiful pictures and he's very good at making people feel comfortable in front of the camera. At least for me, he makes me feel beautiful in front of the camera and in real life also.
